Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is a pleasuring ground for those who explore the roads, hike the trails, or float the currents of the turbulent Colorado River. The Grand Canyon is known for its overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape. The North Rim of Grand Canyon is mostly conifer forest with excellent views of the side canyons that go off to the east of the Grand Canyon. The South Rim is more of a semi-arid desert with noticeably warmer temperatures. Rim to rim hikers generally take three days one way to get from the North Rim to the South Rim.
